Why are they called dream jobs? Well, it’s because it is something you have wanted to do since you first started thinking of a career field. You have probably been asked a zillion times, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Seriously, why do we ask children this question? I didn’t really know what I wanted to do as a career until I was thirty, and even now I am still not sure what I want to do! I have never asked my kids what they want to be when they grow up because I know from experience that the mind is easily changed, boredom creeps in, and most bosses are complete jack wads, and my point being that I do not ever wish a job on my children.

I remember my mom keeping this book that recorded things we did or liked during each grade of school we were in at the time. In a four year span, I wanted to be a police officer, a fireman, a pro football player, and a pro baseball player. As of today, I am none of those things. I was pursuing a degree in criminal justice when I made my first attempt at college, but by the time I finally decided to get my degree, I was too old for most, if not all, police jobs.

From where did the notion of the dream job come? My best educated guess would be from the millions of people who soon found out that any old job just won’t do. People spend tens of thousands of dollars earning a degree that will, hopefully, secure that all elusive dream job. What happens when that dream job isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?

I began my working career in the restaurant industry as a teenager. When I dropped out of college, I decided to go into shipping and receiving- Dad’s line of work- however, I didn’t quite make what my dad did pay wise because I failed to realize that he had been at that job for eighteen years, and I had only just begun at minimum wage. I earned my CDL and started driving a truck, and that field is still the highest paying job I’ve ever had, but I hated everything about truck driving.

I spent close to 100,000 dollars earning a degree to become a teacher. Ah, my dream job! Nope. The public education system is a joke, and its all about money and not really the child or their education. Plus, my bosses were jack wads, and many of my colleagues were too!

Don’t confuse a good job with a dream job, and maybe someone actually has a dream job that they love; however, if they have to deal with co-workers and jack was bosses, I’ll be they wished they worked for themselves.

Today, I am feeling the full weight of appreciation, and it’s not the two dozen homemade cookies I received as a going away gift from my colleagues. Although, the cookies do help! Last year at this time, I was let go from a long term substitute position after one week. I am good at what I do, and I felt under appreciated back then. Today, I was told of what a wonderful job I have been doing and that I am always welcome back. It’s good to feel appreciated!

The real reason as to why I was let go last year is still uncertain, but let’s just say that the karma gods have exacted their revenge for me and, that too, makes this feeling of appreciation that much better.

How easy do you think it would be to get everything you want in life simply by making those you need stuff from feel appreciated? I bet it would be super easy once you learn simple techniques to always make the other guy feel wanted and loved. When the other guy feels and values the appreciation you have shown, good things will fall your way.

I couldn’t even begin to count the number of times I was more than happy to help someone because they made me feel wanted or appreciated it was like I mattered to someone for that brief moment when I was least expecting it. There’s an odd truth that people will remember you more for how you made them feel rather than any thing you could have done for them.

Internet marketing can be a lucrative business if done properly, and when I say properly, I mean morally and ethically. However, many marketing professionals get to GURU status and put there business into coast mode. The Internet marketing business is a rare breed; it allows individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience put those skills to use and help others become successful. At least, that’s what some marketers will have you believe. These guys “sell” you on their expertise, but is that to help you or get you to buy their fancy new product?

Internet marketing covers a plethora of niches. The biggest craze lately is for information that can be used so you can become an offline marketing professional. That is you helping businesses secure an online presence. Someone figured out that many traditional businesses are not online, so these skilled marketers are selling information so the ordinary joe can become an expert getting brick and mortar businesses online. Such information may be as simple as how to get online or as complex as search engine optimization. In fact, pick any area in which you are skilled, find people willing to buy the information you’ve gathered and you can be an Internet marketing professional. It really is that simple. The hard part is staying true to your morals an ethics when you have reached your pinnacle of success!

In my humble opinion, if you build your business by providing your skills and knowledge to others so they can become successful, you had better continue in that manner, or risk being found out and losing your business. Sure, businesses grow and IMers get busy, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for losing touch with customers and clients. If a marketer is too busy, there was poor planning on his or her part or they just never cared in the first place and was looking out for number 1.

A marketer’s business has no where to go but get bigger and planning should be in place to continue to reach out to customers and clients when stardom is reached. This is usually the time where it would be a good idea to hire a few trustworthy people, teach them your philosophies and methods, and let them take care of the mundane tasks so you can continue reaching out to those whose money helps put food on your dinner table.

Internet marketing is already a business model in which one must constantly generate sales or risk closing the doors for good. Why would any good Internet marketing business professional risk losing everything simply because he or she feels the sting of business?

The beauty of Internet marketing is that you don’t even need to make your business one that has employees who need benefits and a decent wage. You can out source your work for pennies on the dollar, and free yourself for client interaction. A good, smart marketer will be able to figure out a way to get his or her work done and still have time for the people who made them successful marketers.

Fear is a noun; it represents an idea. We can also call fear an abstract noun as we cannot touch, taste, hear, or smell it. As a former commissioner of the the grammar patrol, I hereby tell you that fear does not exist, so stop letting it get in the way of your success.

We all know that guy who seems to step in crap and always come out smelling like a rose. That one friend or acquaintance who is successful at every endeavor he chooses to endeav.

By all accounts, as far as your warped mind can distort the truth, you are way cooler than that guy, so why can’t I have the same success? You ask yourself. However, If you have to ask this question, you already know the truth. Unless, of course, your mind has gotten the better of you and you really can’t see the obvious!

It’s been said that your attitude is the difference between success and failure. The guy who seems to get everything probably has a better attitude than those of us who seem to struggle with even the simplest tasks. We let the non-existent fear creep into our fragile minds and cripple us beyond belief. It’s our thoughts that create our fear. Again, our thoughts, which are also abstract, create fear. So, think better thoughts and eliminate the fear the is holding you back and getting in the way of the success you deserve.

Jared N. Miller, states, “Fear can be an evil thing. It grips us. It controls us. And it can destroy us. It can weave its way into almost any aspect of our lives. It creeps up on us and gnaws away at our confidence and our ability to think rationally. It can completely incapacitate us if left unchecked. Many people are so controlled by fear that it becomes central to who they are. It dictates their every move.” Ubuntu Theory

Will you continue to let fear take you by the lapels and lead you down a deserted road full of uncertainty, or will you change your current thinking habits? It could be easy to sit here and say change your thoughts and you will be more successful, but that wouldn’t really help you, now would it? You must take daily steps to create new thinking habits. It roughly takes 21 days to make or brake a habit. Get yourself a pack of note cards and a Sharpie. You are going to create a written map to help change your thoughts over the next twenty-one days.

The first step would be to find some positive quotes and sayings. Choose the ones that speak to you and make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Put them on the note cards and spread them throughout your house. Put them on bathroom mirrors and on the refrigerator. Post a few in your office and on the dash board of your car. These should be quotes that help you begin your day with positive thoughts and help you keep those thoughts during your long day.

The next step would be to rid your mind of the aspects of your life in which you have no control. Remember, you have no control of how others think, so what’s the point in worrying about others and how they view you. Once you embrace the idea that you no longer care and worry about how people see you, you can then be ready to move those negative people completely out of your life for good!

How many times throughout your life have you heard this phrase? I have heard this thousands of times from my parents, teachers, and bosses! It’s a great adage in which to live.

If we stop and think about this, it rings true. When we get sick with colds and viruses, our immune system is designed to make our bodies more resistant to the various illnesses and ailments we face. If you’ve ever had a major surgery, you know the painful therapy that follows will make you stronger and hopefully pain free in the future.

The same can be said about exercise, both aerobic and anaerobic. Unless you drop dead while exercising, the pain you suffered getting through that workout will make you stronger.

I have been working full time since I was sixteen, and I have held many jobs. Back then, I hated just about every job I have held, but having those jobs made me a better, stronger person. I could easily go back to working those types of jobs and not have issues with them because I have grown and matured as an individual since those days.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that in the history of creating new businesses, whether big or small, no one business owner has been able to succeed on his or her own. Help was needed, and for a good reason, makes complete sense!

Franchising has guidelines and training in place to create business success. Even sole business owners must have good contacts that can help them succeed with advice and referrals.

One of the biggest examples of business partners would be Chris Powell from “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition.” Chris had already been a successful business owner with his personal training and television show; yet, when he decided to have his own line of supplements and weight loss products, he sought out help and finally chose the Vemma Corporation to further his business success! And, this partnership makes the most sense because Mr. Powell not only got a tremendous company to create his new products but he also is able to help thousands of people lose weight, stay fit and healthy and create time and financial freedom for ordinary folks who have no business training or experience. How cool is that?

One other things makes this business opportunity a smart choice to make, and that is the training provided by the Vemma Corporation and its individual Brand Partners who are driven to help you succeed beyond your wildest dreams. Dream big or go home! Having a business partner makes sense and its a good idea to get one today!
